The state of the cybersecurity landscape of 2022 – What kind of cyber attacks are happening, who is behind them, what does the cybersecurity job market look like and what can we do to protect ourselves?
Bio: Dr. Mark Hufe is an associate professor and the Director for the Center for Cyber Security at Wilmington University. Dr. Hufe is the chair of the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and earned his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University, Master of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hofstra University.
Dr. Hufe joined Wilmington University’s full-time faculty in 2001 after a long and varied career as a software developer. He has led the effort in which Wilmington University was designated by the NSA as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. As the center’s leader, Dr. Hufe has served on several boards, including the Greater Wilmington Cyber Security Group, the Colloquium of Information Systems Security Education, the Delaware Chapter of InfraGard and the Delaware Coordinating Council of the US Cyber Challenge.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and curling with the Diamond State Curling Club in Newark, Delaware.
