Online Learning Post-Pandemic - Stephen Scheib, M.Ed.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the trend was in favor of strong online learning programs both in higher education as well as corporate training and development. The pandemic shifted nearly everything to an online approach. What comes next? How has the pandemic influenced the future of online learning programs? What are some emerging developments to follow? About the Speaker: Stephen Scheib has both designed, developed, and delivered online course material for over a decade. He has a bachelor’s in science from the University of Delaware in Agricultural and Technology Education and a master’s of education in Instruction: Teaching and Learning from Wilmington University. Previously, Stephen worked as a high school agriscience and science teacher in Delaware. Additionally, he served as the integrated science trainer for teachers across the state of Delaware, participated in the implementation of Schoology across the state, and led both the 9th and 10th grade Next Generation Science Standards project and the blended learning approach for integrated science teachers in Brandywine School District. He is currently a full time Instructional Designer at Wilmington University as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. In 2018, he won the Blackboard Exemplary Course Award for a course he developed and teaches at Wilmington University titled, Universal Design in E-Learning.
