Disrupting Human Trafficking - Session 2-3: Human Trafficking Education for Nurses and Nurse Educators

Presented by Lisa Drews RN, EdD., MSN,CNE, CNEcl, CNML Session Description: Human trafficking training is required registered nurse licensure training in the following states: Florida, Michigan, and Texas. The need for training is evident in all states. Nurses in all areas of practice benefit from education that can be applied to professional practice. This session will provide you with knowledge to screen, identify trafficked victims, to use tools to identify barriers to disclosure. Participants will also describe how to utilize collaborative care to connect the multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for the victim.
